update on my farm quilt

 

finally got the name of the farm

on the rock outside that is leaning on this stump with a climbing rose

planted in it

 

Right now the name is not actually on the rock yet

a project for this year

 

doing the fence post along side of the house

the makings of a cow

neighbor who owns the field next door usually has cows, who eat on my lilac shrub sometimes

 

 

Update on projects...

I haven't really being doing much on them as the headaches have put a damper on working on them

update on my quilt

Since i haven't showed my quilt of our house,gardens...i thought I would post some pics today
Working on getting the trees at least this tree that is one of the few that are in the front yard

                                      The two rose of Sharon are done except for putting the flowers on the
                                        shrubs....i have a lot of Rose of Sharon's....these are just two of them
                                          This is the back yard....

The driveway,

still working on the trees in the middle

I also have a rose bush

a flower bed around the two trees

Well that is enough for now

up date on quilt...

the house finally has the tree that is beside of it or rather in front and to the side of the front...

now to sew it on

the two Rose of Sharon shrubs trunks are on

now to find some light green for the leaves, greenness of the shrus

one of the trees in the driveway is going on nicely a redbud tree, that is 

shall i say partially dead, but still it is there

update on quilt...

i worked on the driveway

run out of green for along the driveway

got the green and finished it for now

now on to the house section.

i added the lilac bush

added the purple flowers

to the lilac bush

and added the green stem of the hollyhocks in the bed besides

the house

dont have the flowers on them yet

now on to the back of the house

the shed in back

the roof going on and the two Rose of Sharons as well

i still am working on the butterfly quilt as well

when i get tired of sewing the pieces on this quilt

I have two more butterflys to go on that quilt

                    the house is almost complete, except for some more grey sewing on the roof

                                   this is our driveway, i am really not happy with it, but i dont know maybe
                    it will look better after i put the finishing touches on this area, like the trees and the
                  flower bed

                    my lap quilt i am working on all crossstitch, i took a break from the other quilt to work on this one....sometimes my eyes feel weird, dont know if it is the meds i am on or my health condition....who knows....

Rolling star quilt pattern

Here is a updated pic of the quilt I have started to make of our house and gardens....all of the windows on the house...working on hand stitching the last window...the porch and steps on...now I need to look thru my fabric stash and find some grey/black or some off white for the roof...Our roof is tin...yes it is very nice to hear the rain falling on the roof....

Christmas Tree Sampler

 

 

I thought since Christmas is a few months away

and I have been thinking alittle about starting Christmas things...

I would post this pattern

This would be cute  to hang up around the festive time of the year

You can make it you own by putting little things other then what it is on the tree

 

 

ok, I know I had post another pic of my quilt that I am working on

I took it apart , ok I haven't totally did it yet...but I started another one

I wanted the house to resemble our house and this quilt to resemble our land

gardens, and such.

so the first pic is the house and one post of the porch and one window

second pic is of all of the post of the porch and two of the windows and of course the door.

their is two more windows on the front of our house. And our house is blue...with shutters, but I have decided to not to put the shutters on the house
