Calico Salad

This recipe is from  Dec 1968 Stitch n Sew magazine

Calico Salad

1 - 1 lb can cut green beans,( drained)
1 - 1 lb jar sliced carrots ( drained)
1-1 lb can whole kernel corn ( drained)
2 Tablespoon chopped onion
Celery seed dressing

Combine vegetables. Toss with Celery Seed dressing. Chill over night in covered container.


Celery Seed Dressing
( for calico Salad)

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon salt
2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
dash pepper

Combine all ingredients.
