Patio burgers
Mrs. Howard H. Miller
1 Tablespoon shortening
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 Tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 bottle lemon-lime carbonated drink
3/4 cup catsup
hamburger buns
Melt shortening in skillet. Add meat and onions. Cook, drain off grease and add drink. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Spoon on toasted buns.
