I really don't remember exactly got this recipe....
so lets start
Soften 1 package of yeast and dissolve 1 teaspoon
sugar in 1 cup lukewarm water.
Scald 1 cup milk, let cool....to lukewarm
then add 1/3 cup salad oil( shortening if need),
half of 3/4 cup sugar,( I usually divide the recipe)
and 2 teaspoon salt
add the yeast mixture
add 1 large egg
add 5- 6 cups flour to make a soft dough
let dough rest 10 minutes, before kneading on
lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.
place in greased bowl and grease top as well
cover with towel and let rise until double
then
shape into desired shape of rolls,
place in greased pan and let rise again
bake at 350 degrees for
about 30 minutes..
then mmmm...good
